Barcelona Flashbacks part I

A long long time ago when I got back from my Spanish summer wanderings, I allegedly posted a note saying that I might be back with an excerpt or two from what I proudly decided to call my diary. It lasted an admirable four days of painstaking writing, more or less successfully covering my week down in Barcelona. A couple days ago it struck me that not only have I forgotten to get back to posting what I had promised to do, but I had almost forgotten it had even existed. So, without further ado, here is an excerpt or two, accompanied by a few pictures -- the reporting snapshot kind, not the polished artsy-wannabe kind mind you.
