Well, it definitely isn't me, as you can see right here (in Czech only). However, it's participation that counts, isn't it? Maybe I'll fare better next time.
The snapshot above is one of the pictures I was considering but didn't send in in the end as there was a three-photos-each limit. Maybe I should have since there are no shadows and that was apparently something the guy evaluating it didn't like in the ones I did submit.
Here is a favorite quote of mine; it's snatched from Samuel Beckett's Westward Ho and seems quite appropriate, although I usually think of it in a different -- wider, if that is the word -- context:
